THE VINCENNES SUMMIT
A GATEWAY FOR LIVING, LEARNING, AND LEGACY IN
AUBURN GRESHAM
Designed as a “Living Corridor,” The Vincennes
Summit represents a fundamental rethinking of what
aff ordable housing can be. Rather than treating
aff ordability as a constraint, the project celebrates it
as a catalyst for connection. A framework for people
to build relationships, share stories, and create
stability together. The design centers on a community
promenade dubbed the Vincennes Trail, a public spine
of terraces, plazas, and shared open-air corridors
that replace isolation with interaction. Here, daily life
extends beyond the walls of an apartment into gardens,
outdoor living rooms, and gathering spaces that make
community not just possible, but inevitable.
